Some people in the comments sections of clips from some Season 6 episodes saw that Lim would’ve taken her anger at Shaun for making his disabled to extremes; alongside almost ending their friendship, they saw that she was going to be the one to sue him for medical malpractice concerning said surgery (with Joni still exonerating Shaun and Lim being in trouble for what she tried to do) and a civil war breaking out in the hospital with the staff either on Shaun’s side for saving Lim’s life or her’s for how he made her disabled. My question is who do you think would’ve been on whose side? For obvious reasons, I can see Lea, Park and Asher on Shaun’s side. Meanwhile, I think Danni and Jordan (she did comment that Shaun appeared to have caused it) would be on Lim’s. If Glassman or Andrews won’t stay neutral, I think I can see Glassman on Lim’s side (he didn’t completely support how Shaun saved Lim’s life) and Andrews on Shaun’s (he did get annoyed when Lim tried to investigate her surgery). So, what do you think; who would’ve been on whose side?
Did he fear about Zack getting into trouble and didn't want him to, considering Shaun just thought he was sad and wished to show him kindness? Did Shaun worry that he himself would end up in trouble?
And why would he have faked his death? What, was he under some witness protection programme?
And by the way, this is sometime after what happened to him and I wouldn’t have killed him off. I rather like his character development, turning from someone arrogant who wouldn’t even think about giving someone like Shaun a chance to later admitting he was wrong and defending Shaun from people who objected to Shaun being involved in cases. It would’ve been nice to see who he would end up with, Claire or Lim, and I wonder what he would’ve made of Shaun and Lea’s own relationship. It’s just, personality wise, he was a lot like Andrews (but maybe not as bad). Is it just me, or did Neil sound like the kind of person who would’ve sided with Salen? (Like Andrews did). Or who would’ve also held a grudge against Shaun for changing the surgery on Lim which made her disabled as opposed to shortening her lifespan by 10 years? I kind of disliked Morgan and Andrews for being so passive about Salen and Lim and Glassman for how they were towards Shaun in Season 6, so I’d hate to see someone with Neil’s character development be like that. (Or do you think Neil would’ve been against Salen, having previously objected to Doctor Han, as well as Lim and Glassman?)
