"Goodbye" is the tenth episode of Season 7 and the series finale of The Good Doctor. It is the hundred-and-twenty-sixth and final episode of the series , and aired on May 21, 2024.

Trivia[]
- Glassman reveals that his doctors had found the returned cancer on his yearly scan and gave him three to six months to live.
- Given the timing, Glassman's yearly scans were presumably what he was waiting for the results of in "Faith."
- Claire's collapse is revealed to be because of an acinetobacter post-op infection, something that is resistant to all antibiotics. Claire loses her left arm to the infection, but she is saved by an experimental bacteriophage treatment devised by Shaun and Charlie.
- Shaun mentions the time that he and Glassman got high together in "Faces."
- The series ends with a flashforward ten years, revealing the fates of all of the characters.
- Glassman dies of brain cancer.
- Lim chooses to leave the hospital to help in Ukraine, having earlier considered a position at the hospital in Chicago where Clay Porter is now working.
- Shaun eventually becomes Chief of Surgery at the hospital and opens the Dr. Aaron Glassman Foundation for Neurodiversity in Medicine which he runs with Claire. Shaun and Lea have a daughter together as well as Steve.
- Claire marries Jared, and they have a daughter together.
- Park and Morgan officially adopt Eden and are still together ten years later.
- Jordan reunites with Danny Perez, eventually marrying him.
- Jerome Martel is shown to have moved on from the loss of Asher, eventually marrying someone else.
- Charlie becomes an attending at St. Bonaventure.
- Dom opens his own clinic and loses his squeamishness.
- Other than Claire, this is the first and only episode in which Shaun and the others did not have patients of their own.
